Beyond the singles events, more Aussies descend on Paris to compete in Roland Garros 2026.

Storm Hunter, Ellen Perez, Maya Joint, Daria Kasatkina, Talia Gibson, Gabriella da Silva Fick and Tenika McGiffin will feature in the women’s doubles. Meanwhile, John Peers, Marc Polmans, John-Patrick Smith, Rinky Hijikata, Thanasi Kokkinakis, James Duckworth and Matthew Romios will contest the men’s doubles.

Jin Woodman is the sole Australian player in the quad division, and two Aussie teens will fly the flag in the junior draw: Renee Alame and Daniel Jovanovski.

Hunter, the doubles world No.20, is set to contend her seventh Roland Garros women’s doubles event. Hunter will hope to ride the momentum of last week’s run to the Rome doubles semifinals on clay alongside Jessica Pegula.

Hunter earlier added another doubles title to her collection following a victory in Austin at the WTA 250 event with partner Taylor Townsend.

At Roland Garros, the 31-year-old joins forces with USA’s Caty McNally to battle it out on the clay courts of Paris.

Joining her in the draw is Perez, who is hot on Hunter’s heels as Australia’s second-ranked player in women’s doubles. Perez is no stranger to a deep Roland Garros run after reaching the semifinals in 2023. This time around, she teams up with Dane Clara Tauson, with hopes of breaking new ground.

The country’s top-ranked women’s singles player Joint also joins the squad, alongside Kasatkina, Gibson, Da Silva Fick and McGiffin.

Roland Garros 2025 men’s doubles quarterfinalist and three-time mixed doubles Grand Slam champion Peers will vie for the claycourt title alongside partner Robert Galloway. Peers, who successfully defended his mixed doubles crown at Australian Open 2026 with Olivia Gadecki, will contest his 11th Roland Garros men’s doubles campaign, his first since 2024.

Top-50 men’s doubles player Polmans makes his Roland Garros men’s doubles debut, teaming up with Monaco’s Romain Arneodo to make strides on clay. The 2026 season has already seen the 29-year-old accumulate two Challenger titles in Brisbane, adding to the 21 existing titles already in his collection.

Joining Peers and Polmans are Smith, Hijikata, Kokkinakis, Duckworth and Romios.

In the quad wheelchair division, world No.7 Woodman is contesting his first Roland Garros tournament. He arrives in Paris still buzzing from the win of his most recent title, at the WC 500 event in Seoul last month.

Aussie youngster Alame, 17, makes her Roland Garros junior debut, having earlier this month reached the semifinals at the J300 Santa Croce Sull’Arno event in Italy.

On the boys’ side, 18-year-old Jovanovski will also debut at Roland Garros. Jovanovski has enjoyed an already promising season, with a run to the third round at AO 2026 and a J300 title victory at Kuching 2026 on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

Roland Garros will be broadcast in Australia on the Nine Network and Stan Sport.
