One Hot Shots Tennis player and their family will win an all-expenses-paid trip to New York for the US Open, including an exclusive behind the scenes Grand Slam experience.
Backed by Aussie tennis stars Alex de Minaur and Ajla Tomljanovic, the national competition opens on 16 June for official members of the Hot Shots Tennis Crew. To enter, kids simply answer in 25 words or less who they want to win the US Open and why.
“The Hot Shots Crew offers kids incredible opportunities, and winning this trip would be an unforgettable experience for an entire family,” said de Minaur.
Valued at $25,000, the prize includes return flights to New York City for a family of four, seven nights’ accommodation, US Open tickets, a behind-the-scenes tour, access to player practice sessions and $3,000 spending money.
Last year, Mabel from Perth travelled to New York with her family and met some of Australia’s biggest tennis stars.
“It was such a special experience to welcome Mabel and her family to the US Open last year, and hear her winning poem firsthand,” said World No.53 Maya Joint.
Mabel from Perth won last year’s competition with her standout poem:
I’m 6 and I cheer
In her shades Maya has no fear
She’s Aussie, she’s fun
Maya Joint is number one!
Mabel, her brother Albert and their parents travelled to New York, where they met Joint, World No. 6 Alex de Minaur and World No. 96 Ajla Tomljanovic.
Entries open 16 June until 5 July 2026. For more information on the Hot Shots Crew and how to win a trip to the US Open, visit Hot Shots | Win a Trip to the US Open.
