How can I download a copy of my Certificate of Currency?
Tennis Australia coach members can download a copy of their Certificate of Currency from the Marsh Advantage website. Click here and follow the prompts to enter your 11 digit My Tennis ID and security code.
If my Coach Membership is suspended, am I covered by Insurance?
No, in order to maintain your insurance cover you must hold an active Coach Membership. If you do not meet the Tennis Australia coach membership conditions, you will not be covered by insurance.
As a Trainee coach member, am I covered by Insurance if my head-coach is not at the venue?
In the case of the head-coach not being present at the venue, the Trainee coach member will only be covered by insurance if they are working off an approved lesson plan set-out by a Tennis Australia qualified coach and/or Tennis Australia.
Is my business covered under my Coach Membership insurance?
Your business can be named on your coaches cover and will be covered under this policy, only within the policy terms and conditions. Therefore, only a claim relating to the business activity of ‘tennis coaching’ would be claimable under the policy. If your business is involved in anything other than tennis coaching, then this will not be covered under this insurance.
Are my assistant coaches covered if i have a Business Coach Membership?
No. All coaches must be Tennis Australia Coach Members to be covered by the Tennis Australia Insurance Program.
Am I covered by insurance through my Club’s Affiliation?
No. Tennis Coaches are not covered under the Club Affiliation insurance program.

Coaching activities include but are not limited to: the running of coaching sessions, development programs/promoting tennis, coaching clinics, away and holiday clinics, state squads, training squads and talent squads, advocacy and promotion of the tennis industry, Hot Shots Tennis junior program, Cardio Tennis program.
|Provides cover for affiliated tennis centres for the activities of a tennis club/centre.
Activities include meetings, fundraising events, seminars, hire and operators of venues and facilities, maintenance of venues and facilities, teacher education, events, conferences, workshops, advocacy and promotion of the tennis industry, Hot Shots Tennis junior program, Cardio Tennis program, property owners, crèche facilities (provided the carer has relevant qualifications and up to date Working with Children Checks, food and drink including licensed premises.

5 TIPS ON HOW TO UTILISE YOUR GENERAL PROPERTY INSURANCE COVER
All Business Package coach members receive $5,000 of equipment cover as part of their membership. Some important things to keep in mind with this cover:
- Keep receipts for all equipment purchased
- Maintain a record of all your items, including serial numbers
- Keep items that need to be maintained in good working order and fully maintained
- Note there is a depreciation aspect to the cover in place
- Should you not have receipts of purchases, take a photo of all your equipment to assist with proving a loss should you need to make a claim on this policy.
