The Tennis Australia High Performance coaching course educates and develops coaches working with high performance players. Coaches learn to plan a player’s individualised long-term development, create high performance training environments, manage support personnel, analyse matches and player performance, use technology to analyse movement and biomechanics, apply sport science, build relationships and reflect of their coaching role and performance. This is achieved through a number of face-to-face workshops and assessments.
The course comprises of two modules:
Module 1 – Create a high performance environment
Module 2 – Coach high performance players
As the 2016-2017 course is currently underway, applications are currently closed, with the next course scheduled to commence in 2019.
