Talent Hubs
Tennis Australia is excited to announce the launch of the Pilot National Talent Hubs, in collaboration with leading private-sector coaches and tennis businesses. These Hubs are tennis businesses and schools across the country, each offering tailored programs designed to meet the specific developmental needs of young players.
Focusing on players aged 7 to 12, this initiative aims to strengthen the pipeline of emerging tennis talent nationwide. The pilot’s success will serve as a foundation for long-term investment in this critical stage of the Tennis Australia Performance pathway.
Applications to become a National Talent Hub will open in May 2025 and each selected Talent Hub will receive a grant to enhance and expand its player development programs, supporting growth areas that drive optimal outcomes for young players. This funding enables the Talent Hubs to elevate their impact, track progress, and measure success in alignment with Tennis Australia’s Performance goals.
Recognised National Talent Hubs and their coaches will also gain access to additional funding through the Player Performance Bonus Scheme. These bonuses are tied to character behaviours, rankings, and achievements of young players in both Australian and international competitions, rewarding coaching excellence and reinforcing the foundation for future Grand Slam champions.
The 2025 pilot Talent Hub locations and providers are listed below. We encourage you to contact the Talent Hubs directly to learn more about their player development programs and offerings or the Tennis Australia Talent Development Manager in your state.
