Coloured Ball Competitions are a great way to take that next step in your tennis journey with some fun competition at your club or with your coach. It doesn’t matter if you are using a red, orange or a green ball, these are a great way to make friends,  while continuing to develop your game.

We know that there are already fantastic Coloured Ball Competitions running around the country, these may be run by your local Association/Club in the form of orange and green ball leagues/pennants, or by your coach on a Friday night.

With Coloured Ball Ratings now being available for players, throughout 2024 we’re scaling up our commitment to Coloured Ball Competitions.

And for you, that means getting involved is going to be easier and more rewarding than ever before!

Coloured Ball Ratings

The free Coloured Ball Rating (CBR Rating) is for players who play red, orange and green ball. The CBR Rating is a simple rating system to encourage level based play for all players, while encouraging players to develop and progress seamlessly to yellow ball competition where they can earn a yellow ball UTR Rating.

If you are already playing in a red, orange or green ball competition, you might have a coloured ball rating which was launched by UTR Sports mid-2023.
