Australian Pro Tour

The Australian Pro Tour represents a series of 30 professional ITF World Tennis Tour and ATP Challenger tournaments held annually, in Australia, over 15 weeks between September and April.

In Australia, the Pro Tour calendar offers a total prize money pool of over US$1.4 million dollars annually providing players with a competitive pathway; all-important earning opportunities, and ATP/WTA Tour world ranking points that facilitate a players livelihood as a professional player. The Calendar offers a range of different level tournaments to accommodate for professional players at different stages on the competitive pathway.

Men's ITF World Tennis Tour

The Men’s ITF World Tennis Tour provides the entry level of Professional Tournaments enabling players to eventually reach the higher level tournaments on the ATP Tour.

Under the Men’s ITF World Tennis Tour, the two prize money categories are:

  • M15’s offering USD$15,000 in prize money and ATP World ranking points
  • M25’s offering USD$25,000 in prize money and ATP World ranking points

All ITF events will be played over eight(8) days, starting Sunday and finishing on Sunday.

All ITF events offer playing opportunities of either a 32 or a 48-player qualifying singles draw / 32 Main Draw

Men's ATP Challenger Tour

There are 5 categories of ATP Challenger Tour events; named according to points awarded to the winner of the event.

  • ATP Challenger 50 offering USD$41,000 in prize money and ATP World ranking points
  • ATP Challenger 75 offering USD$82,000 in prize money and ATP World ranking points
  • ATP Challenger 100 offering USD$133,250 in prize money and ATP World ranking points
  • ATP Challenger 125 offering USD$164,000 in prize money and ATP World ranking points
  • ATP Challenger 175 offering USD$225,500 in prize money and ATP World ranking points

All Challenger events will normally be played over eight (8) days, starting Sunday and finishing on Sunday, with the following format:

  • Main Draw: 32 players
  • Doubles: 16 teams (no Qualifying event)
  • Singles Qualifying event with 24 players playing for 6 places in the main draw
  • All ATP Challenger Tour events must provide Hospitality

The Women’s ITF World Tennis Tour provides the entry level of Professional Tournaments enabling players to eventually reach the higher level tournaments on the WTA Tour.

Under theWomen’s ITF World Tennis Tour, the five prize money categories are:

  • W15’s offering USD$15,000 in prize money and WTA World ranking points
  • W35’s offering USD$25,000 in prize money and WTA World ranking points
  • W50’s offering USD$40,000 in prize money and WTA World ranking points
  • W75’s offering USD$60,000 in prize money and WTA World ranking points
  • W100’s offering USD$100,000 in prize money and WTA World ranking points

W15 and W25 will usually be a 48 qualifying draw / 32 Main Draw and conducted Sunday to Sunday. Check tournament details.

ITF Ranking Points - Men's & Women's
ITF World Tennis Tour Tournaments

To provide continuity to players, ITF ranking points will be awarded in $15,000 and $25,000 qualifying rounds and a player’s ITF ranking will continue to be valid for acceptance purposes after ATP or WTA ranked players. Three reserved places in $15,000 tournaments for ITF top 100’s-ranked juniors will continue to facilitate entry into professional tennis for the best-performing players at junior level.
