National Championships Qualification Criteria

A player will be deemed to have met the qualification criteria for the Junior National Championships (excluding Junior Tour Masters) if they meet the following criteria:

  1. They are eligible for the Championships via direct acceptance (based on UTR Rating), they are a state / territory qualifying event winner or they have been awarded a wildcard; and
  2. They have accumulated 100 eligibility points, by accruing points from a minimum of two of the below possible categories, over the preceding 12 months.
Compete & complete TA endorsed Metro event (including ITF Juniors) Compete & complete TA endorsed Regional or Remote event (including ITF Juniors) Compete in an MA endorsed league / team competition*

50% of matches completed

Selection & participation in Tennis Australia overseas tour or squad program Achieve a Top 1000 ITF Junior Ranking anytime within the calendar year
10 points per event 20 points per event 30 points per league 25 points per tour 25 points

*MA endorsed league / team competition must run for a minimum of 6 weeks including finals

It will be the responsibility of the player to complete a 100 points of eligibility form that they will be required to submit during entry to confirm the accumulation and eligibility for a Junior National Championships event.
