A series of events specifically for Hot Shots Green Ball players; developed as an avenue for practical skill development opportunities and competitive match-play experiences. All matches are played on full-sized courts as per the guidelines for this stage, with the 75% compression ‘green dot’ ball.

HOW DO I ENTER A GREEN BALL TOURNAMENT?
Entry is $40.00. To find and enter a tournament please click here. Enter by Monday 11:59 pm before the tournament. To find a tournament, click on the advanced search button, then filter tournaments to the month and postcode of the tournament.

Green Ball Players must be 11/U as of 31 December 2026.
WHAT IS THE FORMAT FOR EACH TOURNAMENT?
- Scoring is first to 6 games, with a first to 7-point tiebreaker (win by 2) to be played at 5-5. The final will be first to 6 games, with a first to 7 point tiebreaker (win by 2).
- All matches are one set.
- If there is a LET, it is a replay.
- Short Deuce (receiver’s choice).
BOLT TO BRISBANE POINTS RACE – GOLD COAST REGIONAL TEAM QUALIFICATION
The Bolt to Brisbane Points Race event will return in 2026! The allocation of points available to players at each event within the circuit is as follows:
SINGLES: 1st place – 100 points | 2nd place – 80 points | 3rd place – 70 points | 4th place – 60 points | 5th place – 55 points | 6th place – 50 points | 7th place – 45 points | 8th place – 40 points | 9th-16th place – 25 points | 17th place or above – 15 points

Selection for Bolt 2 Brisbane – Gold Coast Region Team:
Top eight (8) points race finishers will be invited to compete at the Coloured Ball Cup. The Top Four (4) finishers for each gender at the Coloured Ball Cup will be selected to represent Gold Coast at Bolt 2 Brisbane. Please note the following:
- You must reside within the Gold Coast Region to be eligible to play the Coloured Ball Cup Green Ball, as this is used as a selection tournament for the Gold Coast Bull Sharks Bolt 2 Brisbane team.
- If you finish in Top 8 in a higher colour, you must compete in the higher colour at Coloured Ball Cup.
- Green Ball Players must be 11/U as of 31 December 2026.
NEED TO WITHDRAW FROM AN EVENT?
If a player enters into an event, they are expected to play unless they become prevented by illness/injury (must provide a medical certificate).
If a player cannot play, their parent/guardian must notify the Tournament Director in writing ASAP.
Clubs are not required to issue refunds, if withdrawal procedures are not followed.
A player who ‘no shows’ or withdraws during the event will not receive any form of refund.
The withdrawal deadline closes at Monday 11:59 pm before the tournament and withdrawals before this deadline will be granted a $35.00 refund.
Players who withdraw after the above deadline but before the release of the draw will be granted a 50% refund.
Players who withdraw after the release of the draw will not be entitled to a refund, even if a medical certificate can be provided.
In the event that the tournament is cancelled before a player completes their first match, a full refund less a $10.00 admin fee will be issued.
