About the series

The Capra Series is Central Queensland’s signature circuit of Open Singles events, offering players a chance to compete across multiple towns during the cooler months. Known for its strong regional fields and welcoming atmosphere, the series is a favourite among players chasing prizemoney and leaderboard points. 
 
Supported by Smash Apparel, the Capra Series rewards consistency and grit. Players who perform across the full circuit are crowned Capra King and Queen – a title that celebrates regional excellence and contributes directly to the Queensland Money Race standings.


Events

The Capra Series includes Tier 1 and Tier 2 tournaments hosted by clubs in Emerald, Mackay and Gladstone.

What’s at stake

Each Capra Series event offers prize money ranging from $1500 to $5000, depending on the tier and location. The series also includes a bonus prize pool for the top-performing male and female players – with the Capra King and Queen earning recognition across Queensland’s competitive scene. 
 
Every dollar earned contributes to your Queensland Money Race ranking, making the Capra Series a strategic stop for players aiming to qualify for the finals.

Entry is open to players with a valid Competitive Player Profile and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR).
