On Sunday 24 May, our 2026 Learn 2 Lead came together supported by family for their final face to face workshop and graduation on a fantastic morning at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).

The Learn 2 Lead initiative is an eight-week program that looks to equip women aged 14-18 with leadership skills and the confidence to lead change in their local tennis communities through several face to face and online workshops.

This year’s ACT participants met at the AIS and presented the detailed plans for their Action Learning Projects, which feature as the culmination of their hard work over the course of the program, aiming to boost the participation of women and girls in their clubs. The girls put significant effort and passion into each project, and all our graduates excelled in presenting their projects to the group.

The day also featured some fun activities including bracelet making, POP tennis and a photoshoot. The last workshop also featured a session based around leadership styles and how to compliment others in a team environment.

Congratulations once again to our ACT Learn 2 Lead graduates. We look forward to supporting their journeys in tennis and seeing firsthand the change they will create for women and girls in their clubs and communities.
