The stage is set for another thrilling week of world-class tennis, with the full field now confirmed ahead of the City of Playford Tennis International, commencing Sunday 23 November at the Playford Tennis Centre.
Returning for its seventh edition, the tournament will welcome an impressive lineup of players ready to compete for more than AUD $240,000 in prize money and valuable world ranking points.
Among the men’s field are Rinky Hijikata (NSW), who will return to defend his 2024 title, James Duckworth (NSW) – a two-time Playford champion (2019 and 2023) – and local South Australian favourites Li Tu and Alex Bolt, both representing their state on home soil.
The women’s draw will feature some of Australia’s most exciting talent, headlined by defending champion Madison Inglis (WA) and No.1 seed and past winner Kimberly Birrell (QLD), alongside rising stars Emerson Jones (QLD), Talia Gibson (WA) and Destanee Aiava (VIC). Together, they form a highly competitive field set to battle it out in Elizabeth East.
With so much on the line, the City of Playford Tennis International serves as the final event offering points in the Australian Open Main Draw Singles Wildcard Race, ensuring a highly competitive men’s and women’s field in the lead up to Australia’s summer of tennis.
Hosted by Tennis SA and Tennis Australia, in conjunction with the City of Playford, TennisGear and the Playford Tennis Club, the combined men’s ATP Challenger and women’s ITF World Tennis Tour event will take place from Sunday 23 to Sunday 30 November 2025.
