Ballkids play an integral role in ensuring that tennis tournaments run smoothly. Throughout the summer of tennis, each Ballkid is a focal part of every game.

Get involved in the 2026/27 Adelaide Ballkid Program
We are looking for children aged 12-17 to be a part of our Ballkid squads. No prior experience necessary!
Register your interest for the 2026/27 South Australian Ballkid Program. Once we've received your details, we'll send you details via email about the program and upcoming training sessions.
Requirements and training sessions
To be considered as a Ballkid at Adelaide International, you must:
- attend two training sessions for the City of Playford Tennis International
- attend two days of the City of Playford Tennis International
Below are the upcoming training sessions that will be held in preparation for the City of Playford Tennis International and the Adelaide International.

City of Playford Tennis International
Two Ballkids from the City of Playford Tennis International will be given direct acceptance into the Adelaide International Ballkid program as our Top Gun Ballkids.
Adelaide International
There will be two top gun ballkids selected at the Adelaide International who will be given direct acceptance into the Australian Open Ballkid Program.
There are plenty of opportunities that are given throughout the ballkid program and a lot of fun to be had.
