Honouring Tennis SA's life members
Recognising the individuals whose outstanding contributions shape Tennis in South Australia.
Their contributions move us forward
Tennis SA’s Life Membership recognises those who've demonstrated outstanding service and leadership to the organisation, or to the sport across the state or the country, over at least a decade.
The Tennis SA Constitution limits the number of Life Memberships that can be awarded to a maximum of two in any one year.
Recipients receive:
A Tennis SA Life Member certificate, pin and glassware gift
Acknowledgement in the Tennis SA Life Members Honour Board, Annual Report and on the website.
Nominating a tennis SA life member
To nominate a life member, you need to write a letter or an email to the Tennis SA CEO.
Your email or letter needs to describe the individual's achievements and contributions to growing tennis in SA:
- State wide events, competitions or functions they have been involved in for a minimum of 10 years.
- Leadership, management or facilitation of beneficial changes this person has made to tennis across the state of South Australia for a sustained period of over 10 years
Life member nominations are invited to be submitted by either 30 April or 30 September of each year.
All nominations will be assessed by the Tennis SA Board and endorsed by the Tennis SA Council.
