Located in the picturesque heart of the city, The Drive is Adelaide's premier sporting, entertainment, event and function venue.

Steeped in history, the precinct has been the home of tennis in South Australia since 1921, playing host to several Davis Cup challenge finals as well as the Australian Championships a dozen times prior to the Open Era.

A major two-stage redevelopment has breathed new life into The Drive thanks to $54 million in funding from the SA Government, with centre court receiving a state-of-the-art permanent roof to enable all-weather play, two new grandstands and a wrap-around concourse.

The precinct also now boasts a covered Sunken Showcourt, and significant upgrades were completed to several areas including the media and broadcast centre, function spaces and outdoor courts. 

The world-class transformation has enabled the relaunch of top-tier tennis in the city, with the annual Adelaide International establishing itself as a premier tour-level tournament attracting some of the world’s best players.

The rejuvenated precinct is also available for court hire, boasting all three Grand Slam surfaces – hard, grass and nearby clay courts.

The Millswood complex is a major tennis facility just south of the Adelaide city centre. 

Located on Goodwood Oval on Chelmsford Avenue, it possesses a dozen blue acrylic hardcourts and as well as an excellent club room, kiosk and pro shop.

The venue hosts a wide variety of programs catering to all tennis abilities, including casual use, children’s holiday camps, coaching and development, club tournaments and association competitions.

Experience the thrill of Roland Garros-style tennis by visiting Adelaide’s only clay courts, located on the doorstep of the CBD next to the revamped Memorial Drive facility.
