SDTA Key Dates and Team Nominations

 Seniors 2021/22 Key Dates

  • Online nominations open, Fri 20 August
  • Online nominations close,
    • SDTA Seniors – Sun 12 September
    • GDTA Mixed, Men’s and Women’s Doubles – TBC
  • Start of season, Sat 9 October
  • Last match before Christmas TBC
  • Break after TBC, and returning on TBC
  • Last round to be on TBC
  • Finals to be run over 3 weekends commencing 1TBCwith Grand Final on TBC
  • Matches will not be played over the Adelaide Cup Long Weekend – March 12

Juniors 2021/22 Key Dates

  • Online nominations open, Fri 20 August
  • Online nominations close,
    • Friday Night Juniors – Sun 12 September
    • All other Juniors – Sun 19 September
  • Start of season, 15/16 October
  • Last match before Christmas TBC
  • Break after TBC, and returning TBC
  • Last round to be TBC
  • Finals to be run over 3 weekends commencing TBC with Grand Final on TBC
  • Matches will not be played over the Adelaide Cup Long Weekend – March 11/12

Orange Ball 2021/22 Key Dates

  • Played over six to eight Saturday morning’s split into two seasons in Term 4 and Term 1
  • Term 4 Dates
    • Nominations Open: August 20
    • Nominations Close: September 19
    • Start Date: October 16
    • Final Round: December 11
  • Term 1 Dates (no matches on March 12)
    • Nominations Open: December 6
    • Nominations Close: January 31
    • Start Date: February 5
    • Final Round: March 26
  • Matches will be played using a home and away fixture
  • Matches are played from 10:45am

Team Nomination 

  • A Tennis Club affiliated with Tennis SA may nominate a team to compete within Southern Districts Tennis Association
  • Nominations shall be submitted online via League Manager – League Manager
  • Please select which division you want that team in
  • The Nomination will require a nominating club to name in Order of Merit the players which it proposes to play in its team
  • Players with a rating must be selected first
  • Payment to be made to the association

  • If you find your club has players with multiple profiles please get in contact with Tennis SA to help merge the duplicates for your club.
