The excitement of world-class tennis will once again be paired with off-court entertainment when the Family Fun Day returns to wrap up the 2025 City of Playford Tennis International.

In conjunction with the City of Playford, the City of Playford Tennis International will host a Family Fun Day to celebrate the finals action on Sunday 30 November from 10am to 2pm.

Held on the final day of the tournament, the Family Fun Day promises an action-packed program of entertainment for the whole community, with activities such as:

  • Giant Garden Games: Connect 4, Jenga, Tic Tac Toe and Cornhole 
  • Face painting
  • Inflatable games
  • Henna artist
  • Spiderman Jumping Castle
  • Farmer Darcy’s Petting Zoo
  • Fairy Floss
  • Colouring In Stations
  • Big Softies Ice-Cream

Mayor Glenn Docherty is encouraging everyone to come along and share in the excitement of this year’s City of Playford Tennis International, where the fun extends beyond the court.

“The City of Playford Tennis International continues to be one of our City’s most anticipated free community events, giving residents the chance to enjoy a week of world-class tennis, right here in the Playford community” Mayor Docherty said.

“The Family Fun Day is back again this year, which is a fantastic way to wrap up the tournament, so come on down and celebrate with your friends and family.”

Tennis SA CEO Debbie Sterrey said the event was a highlight on the tennis calendar and a valuable opportunity for the community.

“The City of Playford Tennis International is not only about world-class tennis, but also about bringing people together,” Sterrey said.

“The Family Fun Day is a highlight of the week, giving families the chance to enjoy fun activities, connect with the community, and celebrate the tournament in a relaxed and inclusive environment. It’s fantastic to see tennis creating memories both on and off the court.”

The 2025 City of Playford Tennis International is free for all spectators to attend, with both the elite tennis action and community activities ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
