On May 8, the Playford Tennis Centre came alive with excitement as we hosted our biggest NITC Carnival yet. With over 350 students from 21 schools in attendance, the day was a vibrant celebration of inclusion, learning, and connection.

The courts were buzzing as students of all skill levels took part in a series of fun and engaging tennis clinics. Guided by experienced coaches, students had the chance to build new skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy the game in a supportive and energetic environment. For many, it was their first time playing tennis — and it sparked lots of enthusiasm!

Alongside learning tennis skills, the carnival also offered a meaningful cultural experience. Each student participated in a hands-on activity to create their own seed bomb — a small bundle of native seeds they could take home and plant. This activity encouraged conversations about sustainability, caring for Country, and connecting with nature in everyday life.

Next up is our National Indigenous Tennis Carnival at The Drive on Sunday May 18. Register here to join us!
