Day 2 of the City of Playford Tennis International has come to an end with South Australians Luke Saville (SA) and Petra Hule (SA) both winning their qualifying matches to move into the main draw.

The final qualifying match between Sean Van Rensburg (SA) and Jeremy Jin (NSW) has been suspended due to rain at 7-5 3-6 3-4 and will be completed tomorrow.

Tuesday is set to be a bumper day with 24 main draw matches on the schedule, including top seeds Jordan Thompson (NSW) and Priscilla Hon (Qld).

Boosting South Australia’s presence at the tournament will be Alex Bolt (SA) and Edward Winter (SA) who have received main draw wildcards.

Bolt will open proceedings on Centre Court at 10:00 am, followed by Thompson, before City of Playford Tennis International 2019 champion James Duckworth (NSW) begins his title defence. South Australia’s Li Tu will close Centre Court for the day.
