WDTA Orange Ball Match Play

About WDTA Orange Ball Association Match Play
With smaller courts and simplified rules, this junior competition gives Western Districts Tennis Association players the opportunity to build skills, confidence and passion for the game in a supportive environment.
For young players interested in competitive tennis, it’s the perfect stepping stone – helping them challenge themselves while confidently progressing along the Performance Pathway.
Eligibility criteria
- Tennis clubs affiliated with Tennis SA and Western Districts Tennis Association can nominate a team
- All nominated players must have set up their CPP (Competitive Player Profile) and CBR (Coloured Ball Rating)
- Team nominations need to be submitted online via League Manager. The nomination fee is $40 per team. Relevant clubs will receive an invoice once the selection process has been finalised.

Match formats
Match formats:
- Each team is made up of three players
- All players are required to play one singles match and two doubles matches each week
- Each round is played as a first-to-four game set with no tiebreaker and no AD scoring.
