About State League

Male player state league hitting volley

Held over the summer season, State League offers a weekly competition for the highest performing players from across the state to compete for the men’s and women’s State League titles. The winning teams receive prize money and the prestige of being crowned the best club team in South Australia.

It forms part of South Australia’s Performance Pathway – giving players the opportunity to continue their journey toward professional tennis.

“State League is an essential part of our tennis calendar and a testament to the strength of our sport in South Australia. It provides a platform for our athletes to continue to shine.” – Tennis SA CEO Callum Beale.

  • Tennis SA affiliated clubs across South Australia can nominate a team for either or both the Men’s and the Women’s State League competitions.
