Monday Individual Event Update
Due to the predicted heat on Monday, only Singles matches will go ahead. All doubles events have been cancelled and refunds will be processed as soon as possible.
Matches will start at 8am at both Kensington Gardens and Tranmere. The Format for all matches will be 1 set to 6 with a tie-break at 6 all, no ad scoring. Used balls will be used for all matches up until the semi-finals, and then new balls will be used for Semi-Finals and Finals.
All Open Men’s Singles, 16/u Boys & 16/u Girls Singles Main Draw and Consolation matches will be played at Tranmere. Those players can report directly to Tranmere in the morning and do not need to come to Kensington first. All other age groups Main Draw & Consolation matches will be played at Kensington.
We will be prioritising all main draw matches before consolation matches. However, will aim to get everyone at least 2 matches throughout the day. We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day tomorrow and matches will be called off if it reaches 36 degrees for Juniors and 37 degrees for Seniors. If matches are called off, this will be published on the Country Carnival website, Tournament page and an e-mail will also be sent.
All entry fees will need to be paid at the Tournament desk prior to you first match. Only cash payments will be accepted tomorrow at both venues. Singles entry fee is $20.00
