About Red Ball Rumble
Designed to bridge the gap between school tennis and club play, Red Ball Rumble introduces kids up to 10 years old to the fun of tennis. Sessions run for 30–60 minutes at local clubs across South Australia, making it easy to find one nearby.
It’s a friendly, beginner‑focused program where kids learn new skills through play, build friendships and discover a lasting love for tennis.
Fun and safe for kids of all abilities
Red Ball Rumble uses modified equipment and a smaller court to ensure kids of all abilities can play safely and confidently. The smaller racquet is easier to control, and the low‑compression red ball travels slower and bounces lower, giving children more time to react to reduce the risk of injury.
With a lower net and a compact court, kids don’t have to cover long distances, making the game feel achievable and fun. The simple, engaging match play lets them experience tennis like the pros in an environment that’s welcoming, supportive and built for active learning.
