The Central West region covers the area from Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains through to Broken Hill. This page will keep you up to date with the latest JDS scores, events, tournaments and competitions in the Central West Region. If you require any assistance with your tennis club, programs or facilities, please get in touch.

Junior Development Series

The Junior Development Series events are round robin singles events for junior players. The series is designed to give young players an enjoyable, development focused competitive tennis opportunity in their local region.

Players must have a Tennis Australia Member ID to enter. To obtain a Tennis Australia ID number please contact Tennis Australia Customer Service: 1800 PLAYTENNIS (1800 752 983) or email [email protected]

All entries must be completed online prior to the entry deadline. Entries will strictly close at 5pm on the Wednesday prior to the event. No late entries will be accepted; as per Central West Rules.

The Central West region will host events in the following age groups:

  • 10/U,
  • 12/U,
  • 14/U
  • 16/U
  • 18/U

Age group eligibility is the player’s age as at the 31st December 2020.

Central West Calendar of Events

Central West has put together a calendar of events that will be held throughout the Region. This calendar includes JDS, Australian Ranking Tournaments, State Teams trials and State Teams event dates as well as Coaching Courses being held in or around the Central West Region.
