Venue Operators Course Subsidy Program
Program Purpose
The Venue Operator Course Subsidy Program supports individuals enrolling in the Tennis Australia Business and Venue Management Course. This nationally endorsed program equips participants with the skills and experience needed to manage and grow sustainable tennis venues. The initiative aims to reduce financial barriers and encourage participation from future venue leaders, particularly those aligned with Tennis NSW’s strategic infrastructure and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) priorities.
Program Objectives
- Support Access to Nationally Endorsed Training Enable participation in the Tennis Australia Business and Venue Management Course.
- Strengthen Strategically Important Venues Prioritise applicants affiliated with venues identified in the Tennis NSW State Infrastructure Investment Strategy (SIIS).
- Enhance Venue Sustainability Improve operational excellence, programming diversity, and long-term viability of tennis venues.
- Further develop the professionalism of the delivery network Improve the business acumen of those tasked with delivering tennis and managing community assets
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants must:
- Be accepted into the Tennis Australia Business and Venue Management Course
- Meet Tennis Australia’s eligibility criteria
Priority will be given to applicants who:
- Are affiliated with venues in strategic priority areas (as per SIIS)
- Demonstrate a long-term commitment to venue operations and management
- Are willing to relocate to or work within strategically important venues in Regional NSW
Eligible Costs
Funding may be used to support:
- Course tuition fees
- Travel and accommodation for practical learning components

Important Notes
- Funding decisions are final and at the discretion of the assessment panel
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered
- Payment for course will be supplied subject to modules completed
