Member Protection
Member Protection
In affiliating with Tennis NSW, all members are required to adopt and utilise the Tennis Australia Member Protection Policy.
The policy has been developed as part of Tennis Australia’s ongoing commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of its members and participants. Tennis NSW and all affiliates have a responsibility to provide a child safe environment for members.
Member Protection is all about practices and procedures which protect a sports organisation’s members including athletes, administrators, coaches and officials.
Tennis NSW is committed to ensuring all individuals involved in tennis can enjoy a safe and positive experience at all times.
The Member Protection Policy outlines a specific Code of Conduct, the procedural obligations of Australian Tennis Organisations and the policies surrounding Child Protection, Harassment, Abuse, Discrimination and Social Networking, as well as the complaints procedure.
The Tennis Australia Member Protection Policy is available here.
Any questions or complaints regarding a member protection issue can be sent to Tennis NSW at [email protected].
