Nominations for the 2025 Tennis NSW Awards have officially closed.
Aligning with the national Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards, this prestigious event celebrates the outstanding clubs, organisations and individuals in the New South Wales tennis community.
Winners of a Tennis NSW Award, for which there is an equivalent Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards category, will be considered or put forward as the Tennis NSW nominee for that specific category.
In 2025, the Tennis NSW Awards evening will be held on Thursday 16 October at Le Montage in Lilyfield, with all members of the tennis community welcome. The period of time we are recognising at this year’s awards is September 2024 – August 2025.

CLOSED AWARD CATEGORIES:
The awards listed below are not open for nominations due to the objective nature of the criteria. Expert panels in each category (comprising of relevant Tennis NSW and Tennis Australia staff, as well as members and/or partners where appropriate) will determine finalists and a winner for these awards.

- Male Junior Athlete of the Year
- Most Outstanding 30+ Tennis Master
- Most Outstanding Athlete with a Disability
- Most Outstanding Young Athlete with a Disability
- NSW Player of the Year
TICKETS FOR THE EVENT:
All finalists will receive a complimentary ticket to the event. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 5 August. Further information will be provided once tickets are available for purchase.
