The annual Australia Tennis Awards were presented at Melbourne’s Crown Casino last night, with Alex de Minaur taking out his second Newcombe Medal.
Of the six nominees for the prestigious Newcombe Medal, four were NSW players and included Max Purcell, Alexei Popyrin, Rinky Hijikata and of course, winner of the award Alex de Minaur.
NSW locals Glenn Toland (Excellence in Officiating) and Brendon Lee Moore (Most Outstanding 30+ Tennis Masters) also won in their respective categories.
Tennis NSW would also like to congratulate the following finalists for their amazing efforts in 2023 and contribution to tennis:
