Australian Open Doubles champions, Rinky Hijikata and Thanasi Kokkinakis will lead the men’s field at the NSW Open being held at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre from Sunday 29 October – Sunday 5 November 2023.

The NSW Open is a combined Men’s ATP75 Challenger Tour and Women’s ITF World Tennis Tour W60 event, with valuable world ranking points on offer and a total prize money pool of $80,000 USD for men and $60,000 USD for women, the event attracts a strong Australian and international field.

Local hero, Hijikata, has recently skyrocketed to a career-high ranking of World No.70 and will return to the NSW Open as the No.3 seed.

Hijikata will compete against fellow Aussies, Thanasi Kokkinakis, James Duckworth, Marc Polmans, James McCabe.

Recent Australian Pro Tour title winners, Priscilla Hon, Destanee Aiava and Taylah Preston, will be fighting for the 2023 NSW Open Women’s Singles title.

Other Aussies contenders, include Astra Sharma, Jaimee Fourlis and Maddison Inglis.

The tournament will kick off on Sunday 29 October at 10:00am at Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre. Entry for spectators is free throughout the week.
