11 November 2021 | Tennis NSW

Tennis NSW welcomes the further easing of restrictions that came into effect on Monday 8 November in New South Wales.

Our guidance has now been updated to reflect that tennis activities have returned to ‘normal’ operations for fully vaccinated members of our community. It is important to note that until further notice, people who are not fully vaccinated (including if they have only had one dose of a vaccine) can only play singles tennis and cannot participate in any organised competition or group activity of more than two people.

While the Public Health Order has relaxed requirements around community sport and the need for COVID-safe plans, you will note that our guidance encourages our members to keep these and other COVID-safe practices in place. The health and safety of our community is our priority and we want to see our sport remain a safe environment.

We anticipate further easing of restrictions as foreshadowed by the Premier to come into effect in mid-December.
