7 April 2021 | Tennis NSW

In the first funding round, Tennis NSW and the Office of Sport provided more than $240,000 to support facility upgrades and participation programs across NSW. It was exciting to see some of the innovative and community driven participation programs that are now underway thanks to the support of this funding. Click here to view successful Round 1 recipients including clubs, councils and other eligible tennis deliverers.

Category 3 provides a fantastic opportunity to remove barriers to sport for groups such as people with disability, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, women and girls, as well as those needing support with mental health. It also supports more events in regional areas and encourages online booking to increase accessibility to our venues.

The second funding round for Categories 2 & 3 of the NSW ATP Cup Tennis Legacy Fund will close on Monday, 26 April 2021. $360,000 is available for eligible projects across both categories this round.

Eligible organisations can apply for:

  • Category 2: Facility Development/Upgrade projects that increase participation in tennis
  • Category 3: Participation projects aimed at reducing barriers and increasing the types of playing opportunities

For more details on eligibility, please view the specific criteria for each Category in the Fund Guidelines.
