The tennis family is mourning the passing of former Tennis NSW CEO Glenn Tasker.

On behalf of the tennis family, we are deeply saddened by the loss of Glenn Tasker, the former CEO of Tennis NSW. Glenn passed away suddenly in the early hours of this morning.

Glenn was CEO for five years and during his tenure he drove the expansion of the Community Tennis team to effectively service member clubs, associations and coaches and pioneered the development of the GIO Wheelchair Tennis Centre of Excellence.

His strength of governance and succession planning cemented the strong future direction of Tennis NSW and Glenn was committed to Clubs and its members. Glenn was a dedicated and supportive leader to his team, and was highly respected by all.

Glenn was an instrumental driver of sport in Australia, Tennis NSW was extremely lucky to have him as a CEO.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Glenn’s family.

He is survived by his loving wife Henny Tasker, and children Natalie and Alex.
