The Sydney International Roadshow, over 4-13 December, was a huge success as we took the historic Sydney International trophies around the state with the Get Set Tennis coaches. The coaches’ energy and enthusiasm at each session played a large part in the success of the Roadshow delivering fun and exciting on court activities. The team delivered free tickets to the tournament and loads of giveaways to country towns and cities across the state including clubs at Newcastle, Forster, Gunnedah, Dubbo, Bathurst, Young, Wagga Wagga, Canberra and Wollongong and various schools along the way. The trophies were admired by many players, parents, grandparents and of course coaches.

The Roadshow generated strong media interest to all of the clubs with a collated total of 13 television interviews, newspaper articles and live radio interviews.

Online surveys completed also proved that the first roadshow was a success.
