A new nomination process for the Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards has been introduced.

From 2016 onwards, nominations will not be accepted directly for these awards – instead, nominees must enter the running for their relevant Member Association awards and the winners of each state and territory award category will become finalists for the Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards.

As Tennis NSW does not hold a dedicated award ceremony, all NSW award nominations will still be made to Tennis Australia.

To nominate for a Newcombe Award, please contact Tennis Australia on 1800 PLAY TENNIS or email [email protected] and you will be sent out a direct nomination form.

The 2016 Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards will be held in Melbourne on Monday 28 November.

Tennis Australia is pleased to offer guests attending the Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards special accommodation rates at Crown Towers, Crown Promenade and Crown Metropol hotels. Online booking requests can be made via accommodation.tennis.com.au from Monday 3 October 2016 to Sunday 13 November 2016. Rooms will be available subject to availability from Monday 14 November 2016 onwards.
