10U Green Ball Nationals – NSW Qualifying Event

The 10/u Green Ball Nationals provides a world-class tournament experience for Australia’s best young players – helping to shape their love of the sport through positive early competition.

Every state and territory has a distinct Coloured Ball Competition Pathway that encourages increased participation at the right level of play for young players. A pre-determined number of representatives from each state and territory will participate in the 10/u Green Ball Nationals.

2025 10/u Green Ball Nationals Event details:

Date: Monday 29 September-Friday 3 October 2025
Venue: Henley South Tennis Club (corner Burford Road and Lexington Road, Henley Beach South, South Australia)
Draw sizes: 32 players (singles), 16 teams (doubles)

Qualification Criteria:

Eight boys and eight girls will receive an invite based on their UTR. All other players will need to qualify through the NSW qualification process. All players who qualify for the event will receive an invitation, which must be accepted in writing.

2025 10/U Green Ball Nationals – NSW Qualifying Event Details:

Date: Saturday 23 – Sunday 24 August 2025
Venue: TBC (Parramatta)
Draw Sizes: 32 players (singles) in both boys and girls
Format: 32 players will play in a single elimination format draw. Players will play down to the Semi Finals with the final 4 players left in the draw to be granted the 4 NSW qualifying positions into the Nationals event.
Age Eligibility: Players must be 10 years or younger as at the 31st of October 2025.
Qualification: Qualification into the 2025 NSW 10/U Green Ball Nationals Qualifying event, you must participate in either 10/U RMS or 10/U Metro JDS. Players who are born in November or December of 2014 and are participating in the 12/U RMS will be  given an exemption due to the RMS age eligibility of being 31st December and will have their points received in the 12/U RMS events included in the calculations for eligibility.

Qualification Breakdown:

Each region will have a minimum number of events that will be required to be played to be considered for the qualifying event. This number is based on the total number of events held within the region between January 1 2025 and July 31 2025.

To determine the qualifiers form each region, we have listed below the total number of events that are to be held during the qualification period, the minimum number of events that need to be played to be eligible to qualify, the number of results that will be used to determine players positions in the point score and the number of qualifying
positions allocated to each region.

*One of the minimum 3 events that are required to be played in the North East region must be the combined Upper and Lower RMS in Sawtell on 25th May. Players who fail to compete in this event will not be eligible to qualify as one of the top 2 positions from either the Upper or Lower North East region.
