NSW Green Ball State Final & National Qualifying
The 10/u Green Ball Nationals provides a world-class tournament experience for Australia’s best young players – helping to shape their love of the sport through positive early competition. Every state and territory have a distinct Coloured Ball Competition Pathway that encourages increased participation at the right level of play for young players. A pre-determined number of representatives from each state and territory will participate in the 10/u Green Ball Nationals.

Event Overview
The NSW Green Ball State Final serves as the qualification pathway for NSW players into the Green Ball Nationals (GBN). Invitations are based on results from the NSW RMS and JDS points race.

Draw Composition
The NSW Green Ball State Final will use a Monrad draw, with a maximum capacity of 20 players. Not all draw positions are required to be filled; if fewer than 20 players accept their place, the draw size will simply adjust to the actual number of participants.

*The best two results from the three North East J125 U/10 Green Ball events: Sawtell #1, Grafton #1 and Sawtell #2 will be used, calculated as a standalone points race.
Wildcard Requests
- Wildcard requests may be submitted to [email protected], and are required by 5pm 24 September 2026.
- Wildcard requests should include the player’s recent tournament results, current rating, and any additional context supporting why the player should be considered.
Eligibility & Qualification
- Points race standings, as of 21 September – using each respective regions method to determine final standings.
- Eligibility of entry into the Green Ball State Final and National events will be determined on the players age as of 30 November 2026 (Players who are aged 10 and under as of 30 November 2026 will be eligible to participate).
National Qualification
- Players finishing 1st to 6th in the Green Ball State Final will advance to the Green Ball Nationals, to be held 16-20 November 2026.
- Should a player qualifying for Green Ball National decline the invitation, the next highest placed player will be offered the place.
