Over the Easter weekend, thousands of players across the state jumped on court to compete at annual Easter tournaments, consequently leading to new participation records being broken.

Spanning across five days, the Nepean Easter Open has become one of Australia’s largest events in the last 20 years. With over 1000 matches played across three venues, the event  provided competitive playing opportunities to over 600 players.

Similarly, the Albury Easter Open brought together players and families across the state for a weekend full of competitive tennis and fun.

“What a great Easter weekend in Albury. We had four days of great weather, friendly competition on our fantastic grass courts, whilst off court everybody just enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the tournament. Thank you must go to our wonderful volunteers, who keep making this event, better every year”  Tournament Director, Dom Mahaffey said.

A massive congratulations to all the players who competed over the Easter weekend and to all the officials, volunteers, parents, coaches and tournament staff.
