Officials play an important role in tennis and set the standards at tournaments and competitions of all levels. The following three finalists have contributed through their dedication, skill, attitude and knowledge of the sport.

The 2023 finalists are:

Casey Jackson: Jackson has been an official for over 15 years as a Chair Umpire and Line Umpire. In 2022, Jackson topped the class when she received her ITF Chair Umpire White Badge, going on to Chair Umpire the Australian Open Junior and Wheelchair events. She continues to share her knowledge with other officials through training and mentoring opportunities.

Stuart Nancarrow: Nancarrow has been the Referee for a variety of tournaments and competitions, including Tennis SA State League, junior and open tournaments, junior and senior ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments and the Adelaide International. He is a supportive and well-respected member of the officiating team.

Geof Palmer: Palmer has been involved in officiating for over 40 years in the roles of Chair Umpire, Line Umpire, Chief of Evaluators and Chief of Umpires. Most recently, he been the Chief of Officials at the City of Playford Tennis International and Assistant Chief of Officials at the Adelaide International, leading and scheduling large teams of Line Umpires.

The award winner will be announced at the Tennis SA Gala Dinner to be held at The Drive on Saturday 29 April.
