Mark Haskett, Macy Lane and Andriana Petrakis have had outstanding results in their respective fields over the past 12 months, earning them recognition at the Tennis SA Gala Dinner.

The 2023 finalists are:

Mark Haskett: Haskett holds the number one ranking in Australia and number three ranking in the world in the B2 singles classification for players who are blind or have low vision. He won the B2 singles title at the Australian Championships in 2022, along with the B2 singles titles at the New South Wales and Victorian State Championships.

Macy Lane: Lane has continued to improve her game over the past 12 months and is always striving to get better. She competed at the 2022 Deaf and Hard of Hearing Tennis Championships and most recently, was a part of the inaugural Australian Open Deaf and Hard of Hearing Championships.  Lane is striving to represent Australia in the World Deaf Tennis Championships later in 2023.

Andriana Petrakis: Petrakis is currently ranked inside the top four in Australia for Players with an Intellectual Disability. She won the 2022 Peter Smith Players with an Intellectual Disability Open and was the doubles champion at the first Australian Open Players with an Intellectual Disability tournament.

The award winner will be announced at the Tennis SA Gala Dinner to be held at The Drive on Saturday 29 April.
