Students are preparing to put their tennis skills to the test as ANZ Tennis Hot Shots District School Carnivals kick off on Monday 17 August.

In 2019/20, 597,000 students across Australia received the opportunity to pick up a racquet and develop new skills during their health and physical education curriculum.

Designed to provide a pathway for students to participate in inter school sport, the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots District School Carnivals let students of all abilities improve their sportsmanship and meet other students from surrounding schools.

With a round robin style draw, the schools play doubles matches with simple scoring and time keeping to ensure all students are actively able to participate on the day.
