The Tennis SA Awards Night is set to celebrate players, coaches, clubs, schools, communities, volunteers and officials for their service to the sport in South Australia over the past 12 months.

After being postponed earlier this year, the Tennis SA Awards will now be presented virtually on Friday 3 July 2020, with Tom Rehn to host alongside Tennis SA’s Shane Leathem.

Tennis SA CEO Debbie Sterrey said the event is a great opportunity celebrate the outstanding achievements of our South Australian tennis community following a tough six months including bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We were really disappointed to postpone the Tennis SA Awards Dinner earlier this year, but we are excited to announce that the Tennis SA Awards will now be a live streamed event,” Sterrey said.

“It is very important that we recognise and celebrate the achievements of our players, coaches, clubs, schools, volunteers and communities over the past 12 months.

“Whilst we can’t all be together for the night, we are encouraging finalists to create their own COVID-friendly gatherings to watch the live stream.

“We also encourage everyone to interact with the event via our social media channels on the night.”

The Tennis SA Awards Night will be live streamed on Friday 3 July at 7.00 pm via the Tennis SA facebook page.
