Henley South Tennis Club, supported by Tennis Australia and Beyond Blue, will today host a community event to support men’s health issues with an emphasis on raising awareness about mental health.

Along with a variety of activities including Cardio Tennis and FAST4 Tennis, guests will hear from speakers including Roger Rasheed, along with Member for Colton, Matt Cowdrey MP.

As part of its partnership with Tennis Australia, Beyond Blue is working to improve mental health literacy and support-seeking in the places where Australians live, work and play.

As a bipartisan organisation, Beyond Blue strives to support all Australians to achieve their best possible mental health.

Member for Colton and Henley South Tennis Club Patron, Matt Cowdrey MP is delighted to be involved.

“I am proud to be a part of this wonderful initiative at Henley South Tennis Club.

“This event will highlight the importance of maintaining good mental health for all of those in the community and bring further awareness to an issue that is close to many people.

“My congratulations to Henley South Tennis Club for their positive and proactive approach, I am looking forward to a wonderful day.”

The Henley South Tennis Club men’s health awareness day will be held on Sunday 24 November from 11.00 am-3.00 pm at Henley South Tennis Club, corner of Burford and Lexington Roads, Henley Beach South.

The event is a public event open to men of all ages.  Entry is $20 for adults and $10 for children including BBQ lunch, with all proceeds to be donated to men’s health charities.
