The semifinals have been completed and the stage has been set for a big final day at the City of Playford Tennis International II.

The men’s final will feature the top two seeds, Yasutaka Uchiyama (JPN) and James Duckworth (NSW). Uchiyama defeated [4] Marc Polmans (Vic) 6-4 7-6(7), while Duckworth was up 7-5 2-0 in his match before [3] Tatsuma Ito (JPN) was forced to retire.

In the women’s, third seed Lizette Cabrera (Qld) defeated second seed Maddison Inglis (WA) 2-6 6-4 6-3 in a two hour and 17 minute battle, while earlier in the day Storm Sanders (WA) continued her outstanding run with a 6-4 6-3 victory over Chihiro Muramatsu (JPN).

Sanders hit the court again in the afternoon alongside Asia Muhammad (USA) in the women’s doubles final. Top seeds Sanders and Muhammad overcame third seeds Naiktha Bains (GBR) and Tereza Mihalikova (SVK) 6-3 6-4 to take home the City of Playford Tennis International women’s doubles title.
