The quarter finalists have been decided on Day 4 at the City of Playford Tennis International II.

In the men’s draw, top seed Yasutaka Uchiyama (JPN) had a relatively straight forward straight sets victory over countryman, [15] Yosuke Watanuki 6-3 6-3. Meanwhile, Alex Bolt and Luke Saville continued to lead the South Aussie charge. Bolt overcame the 11th seed Hiroki Moriya (JPN) 6-4 6-0, while Saville battled hard to take the win over [12] Akira Santillan (Qld) 3-6 7-6(2) 6-2.

Top seed Priscilla Hon (Qld) has crashed out of the women’s event with a 7-5 6-2 loss to Chihiro Muramatsu (JPN) and in the longest match of the day, [3] Lizette Cabrera (Qld) defeated Hiroko Kuwata (JPN) 3-6 6-3 6-4 in two hours and six minutes.
