Ricky Segura has brought home a gold medal after claiming victory at the third International Blind Tennis Tournament.

Held in Benidorm, Spain from Sunday 9 June to Saturday 15 June, the tournament saw 80 athletes from 15 countries take part in the event.

Segura was joined by Somerton Park Tennis Club teammates, Mark Haskett and Dragan Bekric, along with coach Nicholas Bradley.

Segura brought home the gold medal in the B4 category, while Haskett won the bronze medal in the B2 category and Bekric made it to the quarterfinals of the B3 category.

The trip to Spain was made possible by a $7,000 grant, courtesy of the Ken McGregor Fund.
