Congratulations to 18yr old Oliver Douglas of the Coromandel Valley Tennis Club, for successfully receiving funding from the Ken McGregor Fund (KMF).
Oliver reached an Australian Ranking of 92 in 2018, is coached by Sam Wall and achieved some fantastic results including;
- 2018 Centre Court Tennis December Championships – AMT: Finalist
- 2018 TennisGear – City of Playford Gold AMT: Quarter Finalist
- 2018 Peake Gardens Silver AMT: Winner
- 2018 TennisGear – City of Playford Platinum AMT: Winner
- 2018 Millswood Gold AMT: Semi Finalist
- 2018 Strathalbyn Bronze AMT: Finalist
- 2018 Mildura Easter Open AMT: Winner
- 2018 Tanunda Gold AMT and Bronze JT – AMT : Finalist
Having just finished year 12, Oliver plans to take a gap year in order to realise his tennis potential in 2019.
Financial assistance provided by the KMF will allow Oliver to travel to various ITF Pro tournaments held across Australia.
