Former world No.5 and crowd favourite, Henri Leconte (FRA), is set to visit the City of Playford Tennis International Finals Day at Playford City Tennis Centre on Sunday 6 January.

Leconte will be a special guest in the City of Playford Tennis International Kids Racquet Zone and Corporate Hospitality marquee.

Leconte won the French Open men’s doubles title in 1984, reached the men’s singles final at the French Open in 1988 and was a part of the victorious French Davis Cup team in 1991.

The City of Playford Tennis International Kids Racquet Zone is open to children between 5-12 years of age and will be held from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 January at the Playford City Tennis Centre.

“We are thrilled that Henri Leconte will be joining us on finals day at the City of Playford Tennis International,” said Tennis SA CEO Steven Baldas.

“We encourage all kids to visit the Kids Racquet Zone for their opportunity to meet Henri, as well as watch some fantastic tennis on Centre Court afterwards,” Baldas added.

Following his appearance at the City of Playford Tennis International, Leconte will lead his team, including former world No.1 Victoria Azarenka and current world No.4 Alexander Zverev at the World Tennis Challenge to be held at Memorial Drive from Monday 7 to Tuesday 8 January 2019.
