Tennis SA is proud to announce a partnership between the Ken McGregor Fund and Elderton Wines.

Elderton Wines are set to sponsor the Ken McGregor Fund Regional Tennis Player Scholarship. This scholarship will support regional players with the travel costs associated with coming to Adelaide to train within the structure of the State Academy and National Academy, these programs are focused on the needs of the student-athletes who compete at or want to compete at an elite level.

Located in the Barossa Valley, Elderton Wines has been a local family owned business since 1982. A producer of some of Australia’s most famous wines including its renowned Command Shiraz. Today, Elderton is run by second generation brothers Allister and Cameron Ashmead who have just opened one of the world’s most unique cellar doors, which amongst its facilities has a stunning lawn tennis court. Both brothers love the game of tennis.

Tennis SA is also proud to support the Elderton Tennis Classic to be held on Sunday 11 November. A FAST4 mixed doubles tournament, with qualification rounds to take place at Nuriootpa Tennis Club, before the finals are held on the Elderton Grass ‘Centre Court’ at Elderton’s Cellar Door.

The Ken McGregor Fund was established by Tennis SA to assist our next generation of disabled and able bodied international tennis players. For more information, click here.
