Allow your tennis club to be more accessible by reducing barriers that currently exist to playing on quality tennis courts that have lighting.

The AusPlay Survey (2016) indicates that over half of the people that play tennis are not members of a tennis club or do not play on a regular basis. This is a result people wanting more flexibility in when they play, who they play with and how they book a tennis court.

Tennis SA can help you now to install an online court booking and payment system that connects with a pin pad on the gate; allowing anyone to book a court and play on a secure and previously exclusive court.

Many casual users want the opportunity to book a court online from the convenience of a smart phone, tablet or computer, allowing them greater flexibility to play when they want and with who they want.

Players have the ability to confirm availability of a court, know a cost and the facilities on offer up-front without the confrontation or inconvenience of speaking to a person, or worse, leaving a voice message or email.

The attributes successful venues have in common include:

  • A person or group designated to ‘champion’ the project and act as the primary contact and driver of promoting the system
  • At least 2 courts available for online bookings on at least 2 weeknights (6pm-9pm) per week, as well as 1 weekend afternoon (1pm-5pm)
  • Court lighting that can activate upon entry into the facility
  • Easy access to car parking and drinking water
  • Difficulty to access courts due to being restricted use for members only, where free and open access tennis courts is non-existent or frequently limited
