Winter Pennant Grand Finals were played on Saturday afternoon in what were pretty good conditions for Tennis.

In the Premier Men’s Competition Kingswood proved too strong for Glenlea after taking out the doubles in straight sets to set up the match.

Unfortunately for Glenlea they also went down to a firing Trinity Gardens team in the Ladies Premier Division. Trinity’s ladies also started the tie strongly and moved out to a commanding lead early in the match to shut down any hope of a Glenlea victory.

Peake Gardens had a strong victory over The Drive in Division One men’s competition while in the women’s Division One competition, The Drive were able to take down Dover Square.

The closest of all the Grand Finals was a one game win in the Division Four Gold men’s competition which saw Orion sneak past Playford in a nail biter after rubbers and sets were level.
