Sunday saw the Second and Third rounds of the Junior ATL take place at Millswood Tennis Complex.
In the Boys Draw, North East Tennis Association enjoyed a 4 rubbers to 2 win against Hills Tennis Association.  Blake Lowen led NETA on their way with a 4-1 4-1 victory against Hamish CrawfordMatt Casey from HTA fought hard winning his singles 4-0 4-2 against Matt Hoang, whilst also combining with James May to defeat Bradley Smith and Matt Hoang 1-4 4-0 4-3 in a close encounter.

Southern Districts had a 5 rubbers to 1 win against Western Districts. Stan Karahalios led the way, winning 4-1 4-1 against Caleb Hansen. Cooper Lambert and Nicholas Brown secured a consolation victory in the doubles for Western Districts with a 4-3 4-3 win against Jock Piper and Alex Bruschi.
In the other match, Eastern Districts accounted for Glenelg Districts 6 rubbers to 0, with Liam Hounsell and David Wang leading the way with straight sets victories over Pierce Hynes and Adarsh Jacob respectively.

On the girls side, Southern Districts had a 5 rubbers to 1 win over Western Districts, but they were forced to work very hard for their win. This was highlighted by the battle in both singles and doubles between Jacqui Scott of SDTA and Serena Williams from WDTA. Jacqui prevailed 4-3 3-4 4-3 in the singles. Jacqui then teamed up with Cydney Crumble to defeat Serena Williams and Maggie Pearce 4-3 3-4 4-3. Eastern Districts defeated Glenelg Districts by 4 rubbers to 2. Rhita Zhitsova and Angela Galentomas set up the win for EDTA with straight sets wins in their singles matches against Jayne Hedger and Charlotte Thomas respectively.

Natasha Svetlichny fought hard for GDTA, winning her singles 4-1 4-2 against Juliette Robinson, before joining Anh Bui to defeat Georgia Wallis and Leila McColl 4-2 4-1 in their doubles encounter. Hills Tennis Association had a 5 rubbers to 1 win over North East Tennis Association in the final match. Emily Nairn was in great form winning her singles, then joining Jess Klatt to claim the doubles against Isabella Wu and Natalie Quast 4-1 4-0.

After a short lunch break and some refreshments, the afternoon session commenced just after Midday.  NETA boys had a 6 rubbers to 0 win against GDTA. Dale Nixon was in good form with a 4-2 4-2 victory over Pierce Hynes to set-up the victory. EDTA also enjoyed a 6 rubbers to 0 victory against WDTA. Callum Gale helped guide EDTA on their way to victory with a 4-1 4-0 win against Nicholas BrownCooper Lambert was gallant in defeat, pushing Alex Carroll all the way in their singles match, before Alex won 4-3 4-2.

In the final match of the round, SDTA defeated HTA 4 rubbers to 2. Josh Laka had a 4-0 3-4 4-0 win against Brandon Wall to give SDTA the advantage. James May gave HTA hope of a win by securing his singles 4-2 2-4 4-0 against Jock Piper, but SDTA prevailed after claiming a doubles victory.

In the girls draw, GDTA had a 5 rubbers to 1 win over NETA.  Olivia Manzie set-up the victory for GDTA with a 4-1 4-2 win against Michiko Trebilco. Hailey Swanson secured a rubber for NETA with a well fought 4-2 1-4 4-1 win against Jayne Hedger. SDTA also had a 5 rubbers to 1 win over their opponents in HTA. Jess Klatt gave HTA some hope with a 4-3 2-4 4-2 win against Ebony Harper, but SDTA were too strong with Lucy Eaton leading the way with a 4-3 4-1 victory against Olivia Hughes.

WDTA had a 4 rubbers to 2 win against EDTA in the final match. Maggie Pearce was in blistering form in securing the victory for WDTA, not dropping a game in either her singles or doubles matches. Leila McColl fought hard for EDTA with a 4-1 4-3 win against Chiva Chauhan, whilst Meeka Marshall and Angela Galentomas claimed a close 4-3 4-3 victory against Millie Pearce and Chiva Chauhan of WDTA

Rounds 4 and 5 will take place this Sunday 16th of November from 9am at Millswood Tennis Complex.
